I’ll Be Home For Christmas (1998)

Starring Jonathan Taylor Thomas as Jake, this movie is everything you loved about the late 90’s Disney Channel Originals. Jake is basically a hip, young Scrooge. Dad bribes him to get home by 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The rest of the film follows Jake as he tries desperately to get home despite a big setback that lands him in the desert. He takes a warm-hearted romp across the country, through various pitfalls and happy accidents. Will Jake make it home to claim his prize? 5 out of 5.


Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)


Sure, this is an odd choice for holiday movies but there’s no doubt it’s a classic. Jack Skellington, the King of Halloween, stumbles upon Christmastown and realizes just what he’s been missing. He enlists the help of his ghoulish friends to try and take over the holiday. What could go wrong? 5 out of 5


White Christmas (1954)

Starring Bing Crosby as Bob Wallace, this beautiful classic starts off with Bing’s rendition of “White Christmas.” Wallace and his war buddy Phil Davis team up after the end of the war and tour as a singing duo. The two fall in love with a pair of singing sisters and follow them on a Christmas holiday to Vermont. 5 out of 5.
