Graduate student missed on BSU campus

Bridgewater State University was recently alerted to the fact that recent alumni and graduate student, Cailey Bilodeau has died.

Bilodeau received her undergraduate degree from BSU last May, and was enrolled in the graduate program for Athletic Training.

Bilodeau enjoyed athletics, and was particularly gifted in track and field.

The Tinsley Conference Room was reserved on Monday for students to gather, reflect, and mourn over the loss together.

A member of the Counseling Center staff was present to provide support for grieving students.

Those at the Counseling Center also urged students to take advantage of their walk in hours on Monday, for extra sessions as needed.

Students who are saddened by this loss are also encouraged to make an appointment at the Center during their normal hours throughout the week.

The Counseling Center can be reached at 508-531-1331. Students are also invited to email Clinical Director, Phillip Roberts at  proberts@bridgew.edu.
