CDC Reevaluates Ebola Control after Nurse is Infected
Officials confirmed Sunday a nurse is infected with Ebola, after caring for deceased Ebola victim Thomas Eric Duncan at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital. The nurse, identified as Nina Pham, took basic precautions when treating Duncan.
Dozens Arrested in Ferguson Protests
To date, approximately 50 individuals have been arrested at protests in Ferguson, Missouri. The protests were a result of the four days of events called, “Ferguson October”, which strives to end police brutality.

Man with Ebola-like Symptoms Found in Braintree, MA
An unnamed man recently traveled to Liberia in West Africa and returned to Braintree, MA where he experienced Ebola-like symptoms. He is being kept in isolation at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, though the hospital said it is unlikely he is infected with the disease.
Tsarnaev Knew of Older Brother’s 2011 Triple Murder Involvement
A prosecution witness is prepared to testify that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev knew his older brother was involved in the 2011 triple homicide. The defense seeks evidence linking Tamerlan Tsarnaev to the gruesome slayings in Waltham, where the bodies of three men were found with their throats slit and sprinkled with marijuana.
