It may be tiring for a lot of BSU students to eat at the same place everyday because of the limited choice of dining halls on campus. Thankfully, one more option that students can add to their list of favorite dining establishments is Bogarts Pub and Pizza.
Located right up the street from Pope Hall and across from CVS, Bogarts is more than your average restaurant and pub. They offer a wide range of food items including mozzarella sticks, french fries, fried ravioli and potato skins, all at a reasonable price between four and five dollars.
Customers ranging from BSU students to the general public can meet up with friends and dive into a slice of Bogarts’ brick oven pizzas, and indulge in the very popular ranch sauce that is offered with it.
Fortunately for BSU students Bogarts accepts Flex dollars, for food purposes only. Aside from the tasty array of food item on their menu, Bogarts also offers nightly entertainment ranging from karaoke and beer pong on Monday nights, DJ’s or listening to a local musician on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and a DJ dance party on Fridays.
Wednesday nights are the most popular, as they have their college blackout, where students can come to eat, drink and have a fun time after working hard on a midterm essay or homework assignment.
Bogarts has a monthly calendar that specifies what event will be taking place on a certain night. Most nights usually stick to an intended event, but every month there are special changes to look out for.
Open Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 1 a.m., Bogarts is one of the many places to explore and have a good time with a good meal. They can be liked on Facebook, and followed on Twitter and Instagram at @bogartspub. They can also be added through the social media app Vine, or through Snapchat.
