  • Australia Bans Visas Over Ebola Outbreak

The Australian government announced on Monday that it would abolish non-permanent or temporary visas held by people from countries affected by Ebola. Australia’s ban affects citizens of Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea.

  • Zambia Elects First White President

Guy Scott became acting President due to the death of Michael Sata on Oct. 28. He is the first white president in history to serve Zambia. Scott previously served as Vice President for three years.

  • Maine Nurse Resists Ebola Quarantine

Maine officials are prepared to enforce a mandatory quarantine if Ebola nurse Kacie Hickox continues to not comply with the state’s quarantine rules. She has twice tested negative for Ebola.

  • Missing Broncos Fan Found Safe

Paul Kitterman, 53, was found safe Tuesday night in Pueblo, Colorado. He was found more than 100 miles from where he went missing at Sports Authority Field.

  • Final Debate Between Coakley and Baker

Last Monday was the final debate for governor for Martha Coakley and Charlie Baker. The debate was held at the WCVB-TV studios in Needham.
