Waking up in the morning, I look at myself in the mirror and make many different decisions. Will I pull my hair back today or leave it down? How much makeup should I wear? Is this outfit really what I want to wear today?

No matter what I wear or how I choose to look, I always notice that personally, I have a whole closet full of clothes and I tend to wear the same outfits over and over again. But switching up or freshening up your style can be refreshing in so many ways.

There are many small steps to take in order to switch up your style.

Don’t normally wear a scarf? Throw one on over a cute cardigan for a stellar fall look that’s cozy too.

Always pulling your hair back in a ponytail or bun? Leave it down for the day.

Don’t normally wear earrings? Rummage through your old jewelry box, find your favorite pair of earrings, and throw them on.

Boys–do not fear, just because you have less style options, this does not mean that you cannot switch up your style too.

Are you always wearing a snapback or a beanie? Try not wearing it for one day.

Constantly in sweatpants? Try throwing on your favorite pair of jeans instead.

No matter what your style is, changing up your style can be refreshing, and who knows, you might change your perspective on your style choices in general along the way.

And no matter what your style is, be free to rock it, and be proud of it, because our clothes and how we choose to dress represents who we are and our personalities, and you should always feel free to be uniquely, amazingly, you.
